French term

consultation sur écran

French to English Tech/Engineering Photography/Imaging (& Graphic Arts) photo publishing
The term appears roughly halfway down the paragraph pasted in. This clause is taken from an agreement between a publisher and a photographer who are agreeing to collaborate on a specific publication, a sort of photographic diary. Most of the clauses are pretty straightforward, but I find I am needing help with a few of the more technical terms as applied to the world of publishing, specifically photograph copyright issues etc.

I am wondering whether the term in question means representation on the web (if so, it is not specific - and then how does it differ from 'informatique') or whether it is referring to any kind of screen. It's the 'consultation' that puzzles me. If you google the term it comes up a lot in French, but so far I haven't managed to figure out exactly what it covers...

on-screen viewing/display

Looks to me it's one of these catch-all clauses which expressly overlap -basically excluding or including everything. I think it's intentionally vague to include any kind of screen display from cinema to mobile phone. The informatique word is even more all-encompassing - yes, what does it mean?- vaguely any and every kind of electronic processing or storage.
And is it 'informatique' or 'présentation informatique'?

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Makes sense to me. Re other answer - not sure it necessarily meant that... but as Alain's answer suggests, it was probably one of those catch-alls, which could well have included something of a similar nature to videoconferencing...Thanks to both answerers."
