You don't need "in the order of", but you need to include the suggestion that it could be less than 10 years as well as more. You could also use "about".

"in the order of" - can be left our in the English translation

for about a decade

most simply put..."de l'ordre" (in the order of) can be left out here

or "for at least a decade" or "...the next ten years"
