French term

au niveau des accords

French to English Art/Literary Music Music
Elles sont toutes notifées au niveau des accords, c'est absolument vital pour la recherche in improvisation de travailler sur des scores, où la structure harmonique est défini.

This sentence is from the same text as my previous question. So far I have, "They are all chord-based; it's absolutely vital while studying improvisation to work on scores, where the harmony is defined". Is there a better choice than "score"? Thanks!
Proposed translations (English)

"Elles sont toutes notifes au niveau des accords"? What does "Elles" refer to? "notifes" or "notifies"?

All chord progressions are marked

This means the chords are marked above the score to allow for improvisation (A min7, G dim, etc.) Here's the context (more detective work):
La majeure partie des études de ce volume sont des compositions personnelles. Elles sont toutes notifiées au niveau des accords, c'est absolument vital pour la recherche en improvisation de travailler sur des scores, où la structure harmonique est défini.
Cela à pour but de s'échapper de la partition, en conservant la grille afin de chercher, trouver et libérer ses phrases.

agree Peter McCavana : Yes, or "They are all annotated with chord progressions" (Did you find the rest of the context through a Web search?!)
