Hi. I am translating the records of a criminal procedure and judgement and among all the details of the accused is 'Situation Militaire SR'.

I am sure that 'Situation Militaire' must refer to military service, but what does SR mean?

Thank you. It just seems a little strange, as the accused are all British! The other two accused just have a / next to their situation militaire. So I have no idea why this one man doesn't! Althout he could have done military service in the UK.
