French to English Medical Medical: Dentistry Numeration of teeth
This bit of text is a bit out of my field, which is more legal and contractural. In a description of dental treatment coverage, there is a short introduction to the basics of dental treatment and use is made of the word "cadran" which I know in French as a dial. I see that it means a section of the jaw, but what is the special word in English? Or do dentists just say "jaw section"?
(Apologies if this word is very obvious to dental specialists and thanks in adavnce!)

Thanks Ann-target audience probably second language European but interesting to know..
Travelin Ann Oct 19, 2010:
A small word of caution, regarding the nationality of your target audience. The US numbers teeth 1 through 32. See: http://www.mydentaliq.com/adult/adult_permanent.html
