French to English Bus/Financial Investment / Securities
This comes from a business document regarding an investment in a company. The whole sentence is "en raison de délai liés a la création des véhicules par nos services, la société XXX a mis en place un prêt de EUR XXXX directement en faveur de...". This has nothing to do with cars but I am unable to find another meaning for "véhicules". I hope someone can help me.

Point of view From the creator's viewpoint, it's a vehicle for issuing financial instruments. From the viewpoint of the buyer of those instruments, it's an investment vehicle.

An SPV has nothing to do with transport, Kerryann. And in French it's un véhicule ad hoc. And yes they ARE talking about investment vehicles which is what I said earlier. :-))

Yes, they're talking about creating new investment products/vehicles, a bit like SPVs (special purpose vehicles)
