Other suggestions at this point don't fit into the sentence, which requires a verb, not a noun. When the suggested nouns are converted to verb format, the suggested adverbs don't work: "strongly lobby", "intensively lobby", "boldly act with" don't sound right. Hence my suggestion:
"Vigorously lobby political organizations and governmental bodies in order to shape/influence legislation and decision-making that will have an impact on..."

Thanks, Ingeborg. Well, we're not exactly at the North Pole. We live about as far north as Oslo or Helsinki. When there's snow on the ground, you actually get about 6 hours of intensive sunlight during the day. My productivity is fine! ;-)
