I think that "techniques" are "protection measures" (methods/means potentially used to protect client confidentiality). You could say just "measures", but it sounds clearer if you say "protection measures."

The French are using the definite article for "les techniques" to imply the "(protection) measures"in general (all measures available to them). In English, the definite article needs to be omitted. It would sound horribly awkward.

Remember that French pluralizes "confidances", which is best translated by the singular noun "confidentiality."

Also, "le respect renforcé" is reinforced respect (strengthened respected). This translates into "the deepened respect." In English, you don't use the definite article, but rather an indefinite article or a possessive pronoun. I prefer a possessive pronoun.

I also prefer the future tense of "resort" to the present in English. It sounds more natural.

"Les confidances de nos clients" is simply "client confidentiality." The "our" is overtly implied.

The entire should read:

If necessary, we will resort to protection measures justified by our deepened respect for client confidentiality.
