French term (edited): une réalisation exemplaire
Selected

one existing/already built example of the type

"A chaque entrée d'un poste, une loge pour les gardiens sera construite. Une réalisation exemplaire se trouve au poste "Yopougon II" à Abidjan."

"... One existing/already built example of the type (i.e. this type of guardian's lodge) can be found/seen at ..."

i.e. you have one real-life sample of how this type of guardian's lodges looks like in Abidjan's transformer station "Yopougon II"; this ST is presumably meant for people living in Abidjan who can go and see it for themselves.

"poste Yopougon II à Abidjan" is a functioning installation, not a prototype or "show model":

Thanks!
neutral Nikki Scott-Despaigne : I agree with your idea, in so far as this refers to an existing example. (Note: "prototype" and "example" refer to existing structures). "An existing example" works, but the syntax and tense for the 2nd suggestion are erroneous.

"prototype" is for something still being developed - it's not yet the final "mass production"/"used for real" design. Thanks!

Hello,

This is what all these "loges" will be built according to, I believe.

I hope this helps.

prototype ; excellent example of

The French "exemplaire" can be read in a number of ways. In the context provided, it could make sense to read it as meaning a "prototype", "example" etc. However, it might also be being used here to say that the "loge" referred to is "excellent" (in quality, in terms of design, conception, whatever).

More context needed.

For this suggestion, I had consulted an online dictionary with synonyms in order to come up with a couple of nuanced meanings. I may be right, I may be wrong; it may be more nuanced than that! However, as indicated by my confidence level, this is NOT guesswork. Had that been the case, I would have said so!

disagree Daryo : no need for guessing; there's enough clues to be sure//"overly well disguised compliment" I like your style! (end of digression)

Daryo, thank you for the overly well disguised compliment. There is NO guesswork here : this is a serious suggestion posted with a view to assisting the Asker.

I think we would just say “example” here. You could be more explicit by adding “for reference” or something similar but that seems redundant to me.
