"méthode de basculement validée" "installation de la machine back up et tests de basculement". - My browsing has not resulted in any answer that makes sense, unless "turnover" or "tipping" really enters the equation (in which case I still would not quite understand the meaning in context). - Thanks in advance for your ideas.

Automatically switching to a redundant or standby server, system, upon the failure or abnormal termination of the currently-active server, system. Failover happens without human intervention. -> the why for tests!
