French term

shore

French to English Tech/Engineering Computers: Hardware
This is a big website of a medical hardware-cum-software developer, and most of the language is fine.
The troublesome bit is "Fraise en acier HSS pour une excellente qualité de coupe, même à température élevée dans des matériaux de 20 à 75 **shore** A".

I've tried alternative spellings (chore, chaure, etc) on the off chance that this is a mistranscription of an audio file, but with no luck.
Any ideas?

Note: The field is podiatry and they develop hardware and software for assessing foot/stance problems.
And "qualité de coupe" means "accurate cutting" or similar.

Many thanks as always, I only ever ask when I'm totally stumped :-)

@Tony Yes, apologies, you're right.

Glossary Has also come up before here, and so should be in the glossary already.

@Anton Wonderful, thank you. It rang a bell as a standard of some kind but I was thrown by it not being capitalized. Many thanks :-)
