French term

Activités de l'Association Droit des Affaires

French to English Social Sciences Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs Masters in Business Law
This is in the M2 level of the M2 masters degree in business law-business disputes (i.e. Droit des affaires-Contentieux des affaires).

I am unable to translate this, can anyone provide a good translation in terms of the degree and academic context.

Thank you.

Business Law Association/Club Activities

The university of Nanterre has chosen the term 'Business Law' over 'Corporate Law' as evidenced on the page of the same Master's sub-program 'Contentieux des Affaires (DACA)', where they also require 3 credits of "Business Law" in their linguistic section.

There isn't a lot of context regarding what exactly the 'association' is or does, but it is clearly a required component of this Master's program, granting 1.5 credits, and it's clearly the university which organizes this group, which apparently goes out on field trips or the like with professionals and organizations, without going into further details.

The 'Description' section lists the types of activities in which this group participates, and they're listed again in the very brief information page provided for this association.

Activities of the (BrE LLM) Commercial Law Association

ProZ answering protocols notwithstanding, BrE does need to prefix this answer.

Courtsesy of and pace the other commentators, and having clocked up Commercial Law, both at GB undergrad and law finals level - short of an LLM Master's, methinks Business Law is the colloquial term, even if used in UK, Irish and US textbooks.

The only exception to this was a course of study at a GB Law College aka Uni. of the Law of Business Organisations (covering sole trade/r/s vs. US: sole proprietorships, ordinary, general, limited and LLP partnerships as well as limited private and public companies).

Otherwise, other varieties include International Trade Law an d 'mercantile law' as formerly practised in the Mercantile Courts in London and Manchester, now known as the *Circuit Commercial Court*.
Example sentence:

The Commercial Law Association was established in 1965 by eminent business people, accountants and lawyers to maximise the exchange of ideas and information.

Overview Designed for prospective students who desire a deeper understanding of the legal processes and regulations surrounding business and commerce, an LLM in Commercial Law is an advanced academic law degree.
