Discussion

Tony M Feb 21, 2010:
Dassault The Dassault glossary is very valuable, and usually trustworthy, at least in my experience; however, it is by no means exhaustive, and not comprehensive enough to be taken as the sole authoritative reference in all cases.

'au droit de...' is one of those funny little expressions whose translation needs to change to suit each particular circumstance... and sometimes (as here, I suspect) you really need to see exactly how the whole thing is arranged in order to choose the best solution.
Carruthers (X) Feb 21, 2010:
never mind Marcel Dassault's online lexicon. "in line with" or "level with" means "at the point of".
Unbounded Arts (asker) Feb 21, 2010:
au droit de ... Thanks Carruthers. Dassault's online lexicon says 'au droit de' is 'in line with' or 'level with'

Carruthers (X) Feb 20, 2010:
At the point of each bearing.
Unbounded Arts (asker) Feb 20, 2010:
Possible translation in line with each bearing
