English term

chalking rate or measurement of chalking

English to Hebrew Science Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.) coating
This is taken from a warranty that promises what will not happen to aluminum coating within a given time frame. Excerpt:
"the material will not chalk in excess of numerical rating..."
"...defined in the most current issue of ECCA-T14 (measurement of chalking)"
I was thinking of chalking in terms of התפוררות, or קצב התפוררות. Will be grateful for Pro ideas.

This is the Academy's term, and it's used in the industry too.

Note from asker:
Thanks Doron - this seems exactly right and fitting with context. How would you write in Hebrew: "Not chalk in excess of..." what would be the correct inflection in Hebrew?
Peer comment(s):

agree Ron Armon : I agree. As to nthe sentence - I'd use "לא יהפוך אביק/ לא יתפורר לאבק בערכים העולים על השיעור המספרי... "
