אין הכוונה בהכרח למעשה פלילי, אלא לשיטת מכירה מקובלת כאשר סוחר מפרסם מבצע במחיר "מצחיק" כדי לפתות את הלקוחות להגיע לחנות ולשמוע שהמוצר שבמבצע אזל, אבל יש מוצר אחר (זה השינוי) שכדאי לקנות. אין, למיטב ידיעתי ביטוי עברי מקובל. נראה לי שההצעה נותנת ביטוי לעניין. בטקסטים באנגלית משתמשים במונח בהקשרים שונים, כולם במשמעות דומה.

: The trader replaces the item with something else - that's haxlafa, not shinuy. Also, the bait is a noun: a specific, concrete object; hence pitayon and not pituy, which is more general AND abstract.
