Compared to Flanks Man and Rear Security man, Slack man is the second member in the team’s formation. He is positioned to the rear and just to the side of the point man. He is the second pair of eyes for the point man.
The slack man provides security for the point man and rotates duties with him. He will have a good knowledge of direction of travel.
