This is from a Sudanese text, but I don't understand the reference to what kind of prophets these are or what they are referring to.
أعتقد أيضا بأن إنسان هذا العصر ليس ساذجا تغريه الجنان وترهبه لهيب جهنم، فإنه بحق يحتاج إلى أنبياء صعاليك لهم قيم ...

The phrase is vaguely ambiguous 😅. The speaker/writer is probably being sarcastic. How could صعلوك make things (paradise and hell) look different? You need to rely on author's tone to figure out its exact meaning
