I know this term has been addressed in other contexts, but I'm looking at it specifically in relation to a vehicle airbag in a patent. Some examples in the text are provided below for context:
And, a bit later in the text:
I really appreciate any input!

One of a number of Ghits for 'airbag trajectory':

"An airbag has a baffle (2) and a heat shield (6). ... the inflatable cushion 16 has no bearing on the deployment trajectory of the inflatable cushion"

Creepage distance
You probably know that airbags need appropriate space to stow, inflate and have openings for deflation of air.
My approach:
Creepage distance totally meets national standards.

Context translation 1st sentence:
The side airbag trim includes a creepage distance for airbag deployment.

: None of the (mostly very dubious) examples in your webref give any clue as to 'context'; and 'creepage' is utterly counter-intuitive/inappropriate in Askers context, in which nothing 'creeps' anywhere - the airbag moves with explosive force.

Are you an airbag specialist knowing that it has not to met any distances? BTW, this is the correct translation of 'ligne de fuite' in electricity and elsewhere.

Schtroumpf
: Creepage??? Jennifer is obviously right. Your electrical references are out of scope.
