I know this term has been addressed in other contexts, but I'm looking at it specifically in relation to a vehicle airbag in a patent. Some examples in the text are provided below for context:

La garniture de coussin latéral comprend une ligne de fuite pour le déploiement du coussin gonflable de sécurité. Le déflecteur comprend en outre une bordure, la bordure étant agencée le long de la ligne de fuite et s'écartant de la ligne de fuite pour le déploiement du coussin gonflable de sécurité entre la bordure et la ligne de fuite. And, a bit later in the text:

The intangible ligne de fuite is guided by the physical (bord interne 19b) mentioned in the ST, and the latter is part of a ' trajectory control envelope' as mentioned in my 2nd webref.

You probably know that airbags need appropriate space to stow, inflate and have openings for deflation of air.

My approach:

neutral Jennifer Levey : None of the (mostly very dubious) examples in your webref give any clue as to 'context'; and 'creepage' is utterly counter-intuitive/inappropriate in Askers context, in which nothing 'creeps' anywhere - the airbag moves with explosive force.
