Criminal responsibility has been established for illegal actions that infringe the inviolability of the homes of citizens in the USSR and other socialist countries.

The inviolability of the home is proclaimed in the constitutions of the bourgeois countries, but the legislation of those countries does not generally contain real guarantees of this right.
