I. THE WORLD tak w ogóle nie musi być tu użyte.
Można po prostu napisać "TO GET AROUND lub MOVE AROUND czy GO PLACES
II. Problem w tym zdaniu nie jest wyłącznie natury leksykalnej. Forma (struktura) też odgrywa tu duże znaczenie.
Ja zdecydowałem się na użycie "using sth. to do", gdyż bardziej mi pasuje do rytmu zdania, niż samo travel/ride/move around czy inne w czystej postaci w Present Progressive.
