This statement is part of a threatening letter sent to X from some country, to be translated for the British government.

What I need is the idiomatic meaning in English, no literal translation please!

Make your blood run cold

As far as I know, there is no equivalent idiom in English involving kids ― it's just the Arab way to describe how horrible a thing would be.

Its an expression used in the Quran (73:17) to describe the terrors on the day of judgement and can be rendered as "the terror of which will turn even children's hair grey"
