we are not talking of songs, however, but usually of words/phrases repeating in films, for example. So I agree with the disagreement of Mr. Mahmoud:) |

leitmotifs
This is the correct term in drama as used by Samuel Beckett and Bert Brecht etc.

If you check the reference above you will see that "leitmotif" now has a much wider use than in referring to music.

Example sentence:
Leitmotif - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaSamuel Beckett uses leitmotifs throughout his body of works. Other writers who have used similar techniques include Virginia Woolf, Kurt Vonnegut, ...
Note from asker:
thank you, but it has nothing to do with music. see the example I gave - مهما في نجاح أي عمل أو ايصال الشخصية صاحبة اللزمة الى شعبية قد لا تصل اليها الشخصية من غير لزمتها. الكلمات حين تلصق بالذاكرة. the right answer it catchphrase/verbal tics. |
all that I see in google refers to music. As for literarute, leitmotif means a recurring THEMES or "a recurring event, image, object or character ", not "EEPRESSIONS" . |
Discussion
And I have this from Wikipedia English (through Babylon) as well:
A catch phrase (or catchphrase) is a phrase or expression recognized by its repeated utterance. Such phrases often originate in popular culture and in the arts, and typically spread through a variety of mass media (such as literature and publishing, motion pictures, television and radio), as well as word of mouth. Some catch phrases become the de facto "trademark" of the person or character with whom they originated, and can be instrumental in the typecasting (beneficially or otherwise) of that actor.
يعني تذكرون مثلاُ عندما علقت في ذاكرتنا عبارة "دا انا غلبااااااااااان !" التي كان يُرددها الفنان عادل إمام في مسرحية "شاهد ما شافش حاجة".
