Sorry, it is plural context and not cloral context.
and last borns is correct English although I would think that it is ok to use first born and last born in the cloral context as well, with the appropriate sentence structure used accordingly. Thanks Br. Fuad, for your informative inputs, as usual.
This is really meant for Fuad, to whom I should concede defeat in the difference we both had about last borns in the plural. Please see this link:
http://www.capersbookstore.com.au/scripts/shop_item.asp?by=a... I am convinced that first borns
I am not sad at all. I was merely making a comment that applies to all askers. In any case, my suggestion is universal and applies to all usages accordingly.
If you want the best answer or the nearest answer, porovide the context it is used in. It is for the asker's benefit accordingly, rather than to put answerer's on a guessing game.
Saleh Dardeer (asker) Dec 7, 2007:
I do thank all the answerers. I wish I could choose all the answers.
Many thanks!

last-born (plural: last-borns); youngest child

"Youngest child" is the standard, neutral expression.

In colloquial speech, people often abbreviate the expression to "youngest." For example, a parent would say, "I am buying this sweater for my youngest."

In addition, sociologists often use the expression "last-born" (plural: last-borns"). To see how the two expressions are used, you may wish to look at the following article:

neutral Hassan Al-Haifi (wordforword) : Come on now Brother Fuad, is there such a term as last-borns (unless you mean quintuplets, et al, in which case last-born would still be sufficient), wouldn't you agree??? With all due respect, I am talking about the plural last-borns. last-born ok w me

The plural form is used in reference to individuals each of whom is a last-born among his/her siblings, as in "Last-borns tend to be more self-confident."

Two Sisters by William-Adolphe BouguereauOne's sibling is one's brother or sister, respectively meaning a male or female with whom one shares at least one parent. This is usually taken to mean that the two people are genetically very close, though it is not always necessarily the case, for example one or more siblings may have been adopted by their parents.

In most societies throughout the world, siblings will usually grow up together and spend a good deal of their time during childhood together. They may have conflicts during their childhood years, but usually resolve them later in life. This closeness may be marked with the development of strong emotional associations such as love and enmity. The sibling bond is often complicated and is influenced by factors such as parental treatment, birth order, personality, and people and experiences outside the family. [1]

Last of the bunch

Without a specific context, I would think this to be the most apporpriate for all uses.
See first link and then the second.

Note from asker:
dear Hassan, It is a well known expression in Egypt and I did not think that it may cause any confusion. Thanks brother for your comment which I will stick to it in the future. Don't be sad, man!
