Bio
My name is Xuelian Wu. I currently live in Norway, but I was born and raised in China. I have just started working as a freelance translator, but I have ample experience as an interpreter and translator. I worked for the Hainan Translation company between 2009 and 2013. Among several projects I was involved in, are the following: I worked as an interpreter for a large European subsea cabling operator during an installation in Hainan, as an interpreter and translator for diplomatic envoys at the 2010 China (Hainan) Eco-Culture Forum, and interpreter and secretary for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) during the International Seminar on Microfinance in China.

I have applied my experience with the fields of language and translation to work within customer service and tourist relations. I of course draw on all this experience in order to produce as accurate and effective translations as possible.

I specialize in translations of speeches, keynotes and talks for business events, translations of certificates/diplomas/licences, and promotional and informational material for tourists.
