I came across this sentence in a contract for the first time today, though it's apparently quite common.
"Nada de lo estipulado en el presente contrato supone identidad de partes o que una sea considerada el agente de la otra."
Can anybody tell me the equivalent in English, or at least explain the "supone identidad de partes" part, in a way that's easy to understand?
If I had to guess its meaning, I would say something like "nothing stipulated herein ??? ***(entai/(involve) the identity of the parties"***, but I'm at a loss as to what the "supone" means.
