¿Está bien usar el "a si mismos" o simple y sencillamente decir "habrán pedido a los participantes que se presenten"?

This is a very simple question but I'm truly lost on this.

The translation of "themselves" twice is what I'm trying to avoid. It just doesn't look or sound right (but not my version).
