Who created the TransitPackage Handler in Studio?

Hi,

I have a Transit package from a customer and I would like to work with another CAT tool using XLIFFs and then bringing it back to Transit. Can I use the converter from Studio without using Studio? Who created it?

Cheers,

The app was created by SDL Community developers:

https://appstore.sdl.com/language/app/transitpackage-handler/573/

You'll need Studio 2017 or 2019 to use it.

If I'm not mistaken, you can run Studio for 30 days in trial mode.

BTW: Which CAT tool do you want to use to translate the SDLXLIFF?

We have a CAT tool developed by us Mar 7, 2020

We developed a CAT tool that works with standard format (SDLXLIFF as well). It would be actually great to know who developed the conversion from Transit to Trados because we would love to have a similar conversion from Transit to standard XLIFF (we love to work with standards).

You’ll probably have to develop the conversion routine yourself.

Would you be willing to place it in the public domain, one you have done so?
